Q. How do I get my area of interest to appear in the map display?

A. First, we recommend using the search bar located in the top-left corner of the map display. This feature allows you to enter a location (e.g., street address or city) and quickly zoom to that area. (You may first need to click on the magnifying glass to expand the search bar, if it has already been collapsed.)

Once centered on your approximate area of interest, you can use the navigation tools along the left-hand side of the map display to change your zoom level or pan around the map with more precision.

The Navigate tool, located in the control panel, is another option for navigating to your area of interest.
  • Go to the control panel.
  • Click on the Navigate button.
  • To zoom in or out, hover over a point on the map and roll the scroll wheel of your mouse.
  • To pan, click on a point on the map with your left mouse button, hold, and drag the map.
